With 5 complete octaves, the Troubadour V has the same string spacing and tension as a pedal harp and includes a full set of Lyon & Healy's Performance Levers, allowing you to easily pre-set it to play in 8 different keys without retuning. Since it was first introduced in 1962, the Troubadour has been a perfect instrument for both beginning and experienced harpists. Even so, its possible from this record to assemble a basic serial number chart for these instruments. The log book shows the serial numbers jumping around quite a bit for the Selmer/Adolphe Sax saxophones. Instruments manufactured after 1936 range in serial number from 1350-3600. The record is much less complete after 1936. This refers to Teflon bushings that were used in Lyon & Healy harp mechanisms from 1961-1986, or roughly from Serial Number 5120 through 10124.
